Below you will find the class syllabus that will include all necessary information on the class, procedures, testing information, re-testing, etc. All students have been given a physical copy that should be signed by both the student and one parent. This signed copy should be kept in the World History notebook.
Honors World History has an overarching Culture Project that allows students to study many aspects of culture from throughout the world here in their own community. The largest piece of the project is the last component where the student is given the opportunity to research and analyze a society/ culture of their choice from anywhere in the world at an in-depth level. Some components do require outside transportation, thus the student is responsible for planning in advance. Students will need to research cultures throughout the world on their own and in their own time for this project. The student can obtain a pass for the Media Center during their lunch or before/after school.
